Controversy Erupts” — Actress Warns Of Nude Video Leak Involving Popular Pastor

Troubled Lagos-based cleric Chris Okafor has remained silent amid viral allegations by actress Doris Ogala, who claims he promised marriage to her and other women, including members of his congregation, before eventually marrying someone else.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Ogala’s claims gained widespread attention online following Okafor’s traditional and white wedding to his bride, identified as Pearl, which took place on December 16 in Lekki, Lagos.

In a social media post that has since been deleted, Ogala shared an image purportedly showing a shirtless Okafor wrapped in a towel and alleged it was taken in his bedroom after an intimate encounter. She warned that a full video would be released, accusing the pastor of sharing her private images and claiming the footage was sent to her by another woman he had promised marriage.

Despite efforts by the media to obtain his response, Okafor has not publicly addressed the allegations.

In a series of emotional videos, Ogala accused the pastor of betrayal, emotional manipulation and reneging on a marriage promise following what she described as a long-term romantic relationship. She alleged that the relationship lasted between 2017 and 2019 and claimed she ended a previous marriage at his encouragement, only for him to abruptly cut ties.

In one clip, she could be heard lamenting and questioning his decision to marry another woman, expressing doubts about the success of the union.

Speaking to Saturday Beats in an interview published on April 12, 2025, Ogala claimed she was deeply involved in Okafor’s personal life, saying she spent significant time in his home and was known to members of his family. She insisted they were in a committed relationship and that he had promised to marry her.

She also told media personality Daddy Freeze that their relationship was deeply affectionate, describing it as love at first sight and saying they shared an intense emotional bond.

Amid the controversy, a colleague identified as Digidi Dunhill alleged in a separate social media video that Ogala had attempted to harm herself during the ordeal.

Ogala further escalated the matter by posting a formal demand letter from her lawyers, Synergy Law, on Instagram. The letter sought ₦1 billion in damages from Okafor for breach of promise to marry, emotional distress and reputational damage, giving him 21 days to comply or face legal action.

She also alleged that Okafor granted her access to his finances during their relationship before abandoning her to marry another woman.

As the online drama continued, a woman identified as Benita Ahane, said to be the sister of Ogala’s ex-husband, claimed Ogala’s previous marriage ended because she did not want children. Ogala denied the claim, accused the woman of impersonation and called for her arrest.

Despite the uproar, Okafor proceeded with his wedding celebrations in Lekki. Videos and photos from the event showed him and his bride dancing and celebrating.

In a pre-wedding video, Pearl described their union as divinely orchestrated, saying God brought them together beyond human effort. She referred to Okafor as her “all in all” and expressed excitement about starting a family with him.

Okafor also shared moments from their traditional photo shoot and proposal on Instagram, though he disabled comments on the posts.
