“Let it be noted that:

  1. Those who orchestrated the incident allegedly engaged in age falsification, as no concrete evidence was presented in court confirming the victim was 14 years old. It appeared the issue of child abuse was weaponised to target a vulnerable individual.

  2. Individuals linked to the case, including a neighbour identified as Damola Adekola—who was initially arrested—were later released despite allegations and statements that raised serious questions. The inconsistency in the handling of the case remains troubling.

  3. Concerns were raised about the welfare and handling of the minor involved, including questions surrounding who may have exposed her to inappropriate situations, and whether adequate supervision and protection were provided.

  4. The act of recording the incident—by setting up cameras—raised legal and ethical concerns regarding the creation of potentially exploitative content.

  5. The alleged re-traumatisation of the minor in an attempt to obtain evidence also raised questions about her emotional and psychological safety.
