Speaking on the Peter Crouch Podcast, the former Liverpool striker said United’s recent form gives them the edge ahead of Saturday’s encounter at Old Trafford.

“Michael Carrick has given the team a lift at the moment, and that’s why I’m leaning towards a Manchester United win,” Crouch said.
“I’ll go for a 2-0 victory for United.”

Crouch also shared his thoughts on Sunday’s blockbuster showdown between Liverpool and Manchester City at Anfield, expecting a goal-filled contest.

“That’s always a difficult one to call,” he said. “I’m going with a 2-2 draw because I can really see it playing out that way. I’ll also pick Hugo Ekitike to get the opening goal.”
