Kwankwaso Not Sick Abroad – Aides Clarify Reason For Foreign Trip

The clarification comes after widespread social media speculation suggesting that the former Kano State governor left the country due to health concerns.
Mansur Kurugu, spokesperson for the Kwankwasiyya Movement, explained that Kwankwaso’s trip on Thursday was for personal reasons. “Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso is traveling outside Nigeria for personal matters. This is not related to medical tourism or any health issues,” he stated.
Adding to this, Kwankwaso’s media aide, Saifullahi Hassan, dismissed the reports as politically motivated, calling them the work of detractors seeking to mislead the public.
Hassan highlighted that Kwankwaso was publicly active in Kano shortly before his departure. He noted that on Thursday morning, the NNPP leader visited Singer Market to console traders who suffered losses in a recent fire that destroyed shops and goods worth millions of naira.
