Cultism Suspects Claimed Membership To Protect Mothers From Abuse By Lovers....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The Rivers State Police Command recently conducted a raid on the hideout of self-professed members of the Dey-Bam confraternity in Bonny Local Government Area, leading to the arrest of two individuals: Gift Hart, aged 20, and Raphael Green.
In addition to acknowledging their affiliation with the confraternity, the pair disclosed during police interrogation that they had deliberately joined the cult group to shield their mothers from physical abuse inflicted by their partners.
According to Saturday Vanguard, they first encountered each other at a scaffolding workshop in Berger Road, Bonny, after completing their secondary education. It was there that they realized they both faced similar challenges at home.
Hart recounted living with his mother and her partner, who subjected her to frequent physical assaults. Similarly, Green’s mother was involved with a man who was not his father and had children from multiple relationships. Distressed by the sight of their mothers enduring abuse, they sought refuge in the cult group.
Green described how he confronted his mother’s partner after being initiated into the Dey-Bam cult. He revealed his membership and issued a warning, ultimately ending the abuse.
