### Update on Petrol Pricing and Distribution
In related news, the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has announced a meeting with Dangote Refinery to discuss the direct procurement of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol. Chief Chinedu Ukadike, the spokesperson for IPMAN, indicated that members are optimistic about initiating direct petrol lifting from Dangote.
Despite the distribution of petrol by Dangote, challenges remain within the oil and gas sector. “There is a meeting scheduled for this week between Dangote and IPMAN. We are pleased that Dangote is seeking to involve other stakeholders in its distribution efforts,” Ukadike stated.
Currently, petrol prices at retail outlets of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited and various independent filling stations range from **₦950 to ₦1,100**, depending on the geographical location within the country, following the lifting of Dangote fuel.
