Nigerian business mogul, Aliko Dangote, has highlighted significant improvements in diesel prices and hinted at further positive developments, including a drop in the dollar to naira exchange rate. Speaking to reporters in Lagos following a meeting with President Bola Tinubu, Dangote expressed optimism that inflation would soon see a decline.

Dangote revealed that his company’s refinery has been retailing diesel at ₦1,200 per liter, a considerable reduction from the previous market rate of ₦1,650-₦1,700. This reduction in diesel prices is translating into lower production costs for local goods such as flour, ultimately benefiting consumers.
