Reflecting on his time at Enyimba, he expressed gratitude for the chance to represent the club, saying it had been a privilege to wear the “People’s Elephant” badge. Daga acknowledged the team’s challenges but expressed optimism for the future, especially regarding their CAF Confederation Cup ambitions and the ongoing 2024-2025 Nigeria Premier Football League season.

Despite recent struggles, Enyimba ended a 10-game winless streak with a dominant 4-1 victory over Black Bulls of Mozambique in the Confederation Cup, signaling a new chapter for the club.
