Davido’s Logistics Manager, Israel DMW, Declares Support For Atiku Ahead Of 2027 Election

Israel DMW, the logistics manager of Nigerian music star Davido, has declared his intention to vote for former Vice President Atiku Abubakar in the 2027 presidential election.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the celebrity aide disclosed his political preference in a statement shared on his Instagram page, where he expressed support for a leader from Northern Nigeria and questioned the alleged award of a ₦15 trillion contract to a single individual.

Israel DMW also appealed to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure that Nigerians are allowed to freely choose their preferred candidate in the forthcoming presidential election.

Explaining his position, he expressed a preference for northern leadership and raised concerns over the reported contract award, although he did not provide further details to substantiate the claim.

He wrote, “It is always far better when a northern Nigeria rules. 15 trillion contract to one person alone? I’m voting Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. INEC should please allow Nigerians to freely choose whoever they want to govern them in January 2027. A good name is far better than money.”

His declaration comes as political activities and discussions surrounding the 2027 general elections continue to gather momentum across the country.

In a related development, Israel DMW previously paid tribute to former President Muhammadu Buhari, commending him for what he described as allowing Edo State residents to elect their preferred governor during the 2020 governorship election.

He praised the late former president for what he considered a free and credible electoral process in the state during Buhari’s administration.
