Displaced Politicians Club! – Bwala Mocks El-Rufai, Atiku Over New Coalition

Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser on Policy Communication to President Bola Tinubu, has dismissed the opposition coalition’s efforts toward the 2027 general elections as futile and bound to fail.

In a statement shared on his account late Monday, Bwala described the coalition—formed to unseat President Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC)—as “dead on arrival.”

His comments came in response to a televised interview by former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, who criticized the Tinubu administration’s performance and gave insights into the coalition’s activities.

Bwala accused El-Rufai of attempting to distort historical facts without providing credible evidence to support his claims.

“I watched my elder brother, Nasir El-Rufai, on Arise TV’s Prime Time tonight. Nothing he said was new or unexpected from someone in the opposition. What stood out was his attempt to rewrite history—without backing it with any verifiable facts,” Bwala said.

He went further to label El-Rufai, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, and other key figures in the coalition as “internally displaced politicians.”

According to Bwala: “Their so-called coalition is nothing more than a gathering of politically displaced individuals chasing shadows. It’s a nonstarter—already doomed to fail.”
