The 48-year-old music producer faced backlash from fans after sharing the clip, which was part of the promotion for his upcoming album.
In the video, Khaled can be seen opening his car door and gesturing to his security personnel, expressing his concern about keeping his Jordans clean. “I don’t want to get my Jordans dirty,” he remarked before asking for assistance.
Two security guards promptly came to his aid, carrying him as they walked over sand to a beach-side stage.
“Thank you brothers, I appreciate it,” Khaled expressed his gratitude as they set him down. “Can’t mess up the Js.”
The scene continued as the guards lifted him out of the truck upon arrival at the concert space, carrying him once again to the stage’s steps.
