The issue resurfaced after Anu publicly called for a DNA test via Instagram to establish her true identity. She revealed that she has been subjected to ridicule in school, with classmates mocking her over claims that Davido is her father, a situation she said has taken an emotional toll on her.

Responding to the allegation, Davido firmly denied being Anu’s father, stating that multiple DNA tests had already been conducted and all returned negative results. He explained that the tests were carried out at different medical facilities selected by both parties, with identical outcomes.

In the wake of Davido’s response, Hellen Ati weighed in through the comment section of a blog, urging the singer to consider supporting the child through adoption. She appealed to Davido’s well-known love for children, suggesting that adoption would not diminish him in any way.

Hellen also took a dig at Cubana Chief Priest, accusing him of lacking compassion. In her words, she asked Davido to “please just help her” by adopting Anu, adding that his kindness toward children stood in contrast to Chief Priest, whom she criticised in the same breath.
