The United Kingdom (UK) government has released a list of unclaimed estates belonging to deceased individuals from various countries, including 58 Nigerians.

These estates, classified as “Bona Vacantia”, remain unclaimed for a certain period before being considered property of the Crown.

The published list includes the names, birth and death dates, and locations of death of the individuals.

  • Solomon Adekanmibi – Died in Colchester, Essex (2021)

  • Julius Taiwo Akinyeye – From Ondo, Nigeria; died in Derby (1995)

  • Victor Adedapo Olufemi Fani-Kayode – From Lagos, Nigeria; died in Birmingham (2001)
