Dollar To Naira Exchange Rate Today, October 31, 2026: Naira Trades At ₦1,384/$ In Black Market

Published

The Nigerian naira is exchanging at ₦1,384.31 per dollar in the parallel foreign exchange market on Saturday, October 31, 2026, while Bureau De Change (BDC) operators are buying the United States currency at ₦1,378.55.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the latest exchange rate figures indicate a difference of ₦5.76 between the buying and selling prices of the dollar in the parallel market.

Meanwhile, the official exchange rate stands at ₦1,346 per dollar, representing a difference of ₦38.31 between the official rate and the parallel market selling price.

The figures, based on the latest available exchange rate update, show that the dollar is being purchased from customers at ₦1,378.55 and sold to buyers at ₦1,384.31 in the parallel market. The official rate is based on the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM) benchmark.

The prevailing rates mean that Nigerians selling dollars to BDC operators may receive different amounts from those purchasing the currency for international travel, business transactions and other financial obligations.

At the current parallel market buying rate of ₦1,378.55, $100 is equivalent to approximately ₦137,855. However, individuals purchasing $100 at the selling rate of ₦1,384.31 would need about ₦138,431.

At the official exchange rate of ₦1,346 per dollar, $100 is valued at approximately ₦134,600.

However, the actual amount paid or received may differ depending on the location, individual dealer and prevailing terms of each transaction.

The latest figures indicate that the parallel market continues to trade above the official foreign exchange rate, highlighting the difference between the two segments of Nigeria’s currency market.

With Saturday being a weekend, the official market may not record a fresh trading rate until the next business day. Meanwhile, parallel market rates could fluctuate depending on dollar demand, availability and the pricing decisions of individual BDC operators.
