Drama Unfolds: Iyabo Ojo Explains Why She Won’t Respond To Lizzy Anjorin’s Deadly Curses

Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has revealed that her silence in the face of Lizzy Anjorin’s repeated insults, curses, and death wishes directed at her family and grandson, Rakeem Mkambala, is intentional.

In a heartfelt Instagram post on Sunday, Iyabo admitted that although it has been difficult to remain quiet, she chose restraint for the sake of peace and because of her faith in God.

She explained that her legal team is fully aware of the matter, carefully documenting every defamatory statement while preparing for the next steps. According to her, this deliberate silence is not weakness but wisdom, as everything has its appointed time.

The actress further noted that her priority in recent months has been family—welcoming her grandson, supporting her daughter, Priscillia, in her journey into motherhood, and standing in the gap spiritually and emotionally.

Iyabo assured fans that once she returns to Lagos, she will confront the matter directly, stressing that silence can sometimes be the most powerful response.

She wrote:

“I know many of you are concerned about my quiet approach to the defamatory remarks and curses from Liz Anjorin, especially those directed at my grandson. Trust me, it hasn’t been easy, but I choose to ignore the distractions because who God has blessed, no one can curse. My legal team is on top of it, and when the time is right, action will be taken. For now, my focus has been on family. Once I’m back in Lagos, it will be time to address the issues. Thank you all for your love and concern.”
