Drama Unfolds: Ned Nwoko Alleges Harassment By Regina Daniels’ Sibling In Viral Video

In a lengthy statement on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Saturday night, the Delta North lawmaker alleged that Sammy repeatedly invaded his residence, harassing his children and domestic staff, particularly when he was away.

“These videos show Sammy, Regina’s brother, repeatedly coming to my home and harassing my children and domestic staff, especially whenever I was not around. His visits were often aggressive and disruptive,” Nwoko wrote.

He said he was compelled to speak out to counter what he described as “misleading narratives” surrounding Sammy’s arrest, emphasizing that the matter was a serious security concern, not a domestic dispute.

Nwoko also revealed years of financial support he claims to have provided to Regina’s family, including Sammy. He stated that he sponsored Sammy through his last two years at the University of Ekpoma, purchased musical instruments for him, rented and furnished a flat in Abuja, and routinely gave allowances to all family members, including Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels. He claimed to have transferred ₦125 million to her mother in the last two years.

The senator alleged that Regina’s rehabilitation efforts were repeatedly sabotaged by her siblings and friends, who he accused of smuggling drugs into his home while she battled addiction under medical supervision.

“They would come into the house uninvited, sometimes forcing their way in, and would bring her the same drugs she was being treated for. Instead of helping her recover, they encouraged her addiction and frustrated the efforts of the doctors and therapists,” he said.

Nwoko recounted multiple incidents, including a confrontation where Sammy and his associates refused to leave the house after being asked to remove an enabler from the premises, verbally assaulted police officers stationed for security, and disrupted the household, including on his children’s birthdays.

He also explained the background of Sammy and other family members’ involvement in drugs, asserting that they introduced Regina to substances and continued using them themselves, undermining her recovery.

Senator Nwoko stressed that the viral videos claiming he sent thugs to attack Regina were false, stating that the footage was staged outside his home by Regina’s sister and friends, without any violence occurring inside his property.

He called for Sammy to receive professional rehabilitation, highlighting the brother’s repeated arrests and violent behavior, and reiterated that the conflict has escalated tensions between his family and Regina’s, particularly after the actress publicly claimed her mother was unfairly dragged into the matter.

Sammy West remains in police custody as concerns grow over the deteriorating relationship between the two families.
