Aisha Galadima, a notable political associate of the former Kaduna State governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, was apprehended in Kaduna. According to a source speaking to DAILY POST, her arrest was allegedly connected to a Facebook post where she criticized Governor Uba Sani.

Reportedly, agents from the Department of State Services (DSS) picked up the female politician from her residence on Sunday afternoon, as confirmed by one of her brothers. He stated, “Aisha has just been arrested by DSS at her Tudun Wada residence in Kaduna.”

Meanwhile, Mallam Nasiru El-Rufai, the former Governor of Kaduna State, paid a visit to Borno State Governor, Umaru Babagana Zulum, in Maiduguri, the state capital. A photo capturing the meeting between the two All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders surfaced.

Details of the visit were not disclosed at the time of this report.

In other news, the suspended Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress in Kaduna State, Maryam Suleiman, accused Governor Uba Sani of disloyalty, emphasizing that she harbors no regrets about criticizing him.

It’s noted that Governor Sani expressed dissatisfaction during a Town Hall Meeting on Saturday, mentioning that the former Governor of the state, Nasir El-Rufai, left him with $587m, N85bn, and 115 contractual liabilities.
