Na so we go dey? The same thing na we go dey repeat every time? Haba when Nigeria wan take change?

That’s what a perplexed man said after seeing a video of  PDP agents handing out 400 naira and a can of soft drinks to voters in exchange of their mandate.

Yesterday, the PDP launched its presidential campaign in Uyo, dominating the airwaves with images of massive crowds of supporters. It was quite intimidating, I must admit, but a few hours after the campaign kicked off, a video went viral showing how electorates were mobilized.

In this video, you can see the PDP agent handing out COINS(400 Naira) and asking if the citizens had voter cards. Nursing mothers, pregnant women, artisans, and others were seen queuing to collect money.

The worst was when the agent asked some minors if they had voter cards, and when they said yes, he gave those people 200 Naira only because he obviously wasn’t convinced they had.

The video was quite pitiful because it still shows a primitive Nigeria. It reminded us of the photo of Labour Party agents giving 500 naira to Nigerians who attended their rally.

Nigerians are not amused and have called on security forces to apprehend the PDP agents seen in the despicable video buying over the consciences of the electorates; otherwise, what was the point of asking if they had a voter card before giving them money?

View the heinous video below and make your own decision.
