Olumide Akpata, the gubernatorial candidate representing the Labour Party in the upcoming Edo September elections, is deeply rooted in Edo South as a native son of the soil. The other main candidates, Asue Ighodalo and Senator Monday Okpebholo, are from Edo Central.
