Edo Decides: Clash Of Influence – Davido vs Sanwo-Olu’s Aide Jubril Gawat

Davido has called out Jubril Gawat, the Senior Special Assistant on New Media to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, after Gawat dismissed a comment the singer made about INEC.

Davido, who has been actively sharing his thoughts on the ongoing governorship election in Edo state via his X account, criticized INEC, labeling it as “the most dangerous institution in Nigeria.”

Gawat, a member of the APC, responded to Davido’s tweet with a remark the singer found offensive, leading to a heated exchange. In response, Gawat posted a video of Davido praising Governor Sanwo-Olu at his wedding, referring to him as “the real 001.”
