It was a distinguished gathering of Nigeria’s finest at the 17th Leadership Annual Conference and Awards, held in grand style at the Presidential Banquet Hall, Aso Villa. The daytime ceremony brought together leaders from government, business, and entertainment to celebrate outstanding individuals shaping the nation’s present and future.
Themed “The Challenges and Opportunities in Nigeria’s Fiscal Federalism,” this year’s edition tackled governance reforms and fiscal strategy—while honouring those whose contributions are driving national development.
Among the day’s most notable honourees was Senator Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, representing Edo North Senatorial District, who clinched the coveted title of Politician of the Year 2024. Though unable to attend, the award was received on his behalf by his daughter, Mrs. Jane Aduku, who delivered a graceful show of family pride and continuity.
Our cameras couldn’t help but catch the wave of Edo excellence that graced the event—starting with the Honourable Minister of Regional Development, Engr. Abubakar Momoh FNSE, whose ministry oversees the six geo-political developmental commissions across Nigeria.
