EFCC Busts Internet Fraud Syndicate Apprehends 20 Suspects In Ibadan Raid....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Twenty individuals suspected of engaging in internet fraud have been apprehended by operatives from the Ibadan Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The arrests, which took place on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, occurred in the Akobo area of Ibadan following actionable intelligence regarding their alleged fraudulent activities online.
Among the items seized from the suspects are ten high-end cars, twelve laptops, forty-one mobile phones, one PlayStation 5, a television set, and various other potentially incriminating documents.
The EFCC has stated that upon the completion of investigations, the suspects will be charged in court.
