According to Dele Oyewale, the Head of Media & Publicity, the arrests were made based on actionable intelligence regarding the activities of an organized internet fraud syndicate operating in areas such as Ibagwa-Nike within the Enugu metropolis. Among the seized items were three luxury cars, along with mobile phones and laptops.
Oyewale stated that upon the completion of thorough investigations, the suspects will be presented in court for arraignment.
