EFCC Nabs 100 Suspected Internet Fraudsters In Enugu Raid

Operatives from the Enugu Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have apprehended 100 individuals suspected of engaging in internet fraud across various spots in Enugu State.
According to a statement by the agency, the arrests were made during early morning sting operations conducted on Wednesday, May 5, 2024, based on credible intelligence indicating the activities of an organized group of internet fraudsters operating in areas like Ibagwa-Nike and other parts of the Enugu metropolis.
Among the items seized from the suspects were three luxurious cars, along with mobile phones and laptops.
Following the investigations, the suspects will face prosecution in court.
