Ejimakor Accuses DSS Of Illegally Capturing Photos Of Nnamdi Kanu And Legal Team....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Aloy Ejimakor, the primary legal representative for Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has leveled accusations against the Department of State Services (DSS), alleging that they are severely restricting and monitoring Kanu’s interactions with his legal team. Issuing a statement from Akwa, the capital of Anambra State, Ejimakor expressed grave concerns that Kanu may not receive a fair trial due to the invasive surveillance conducted by the DSS on his consultations with lawyers.
Ejimakor went further to claim that the DSS is covertly capturing images of Kanu alongside his legal counsel, thereby infringing upon the privacy of their discussions. He recounted an incident where he and a colleague were photographed by security operatives during a consultation with Kanu, emphasizing the lack of visible surveillance equipment in Kanu’s vicinity.
Expressing dismay over these revelations, Ejimakor highlighted the impossibility of ensuring fair proceedings under such intrusive conditions. He argued that the pervasive surveillance fosters an environment of intolerance, severely impeding Kanu’s access to legal counsel and eroding any semblance of a fair trial.
The concerns raised by Ejimakor underscore the challenges faced by Kanu in securing his rights to privacy and fair legal representation amidst heightened surveillance and monitoring by the DSS.
