El-Rufai’s Abuja Residence Hit By Kidnapping Attempt, Residents Fearful

According to DAILY POST, the assault occurred early Wednesday morning when the assailants stormed the area, firing shots indiscriminately.

During the incident, a man identified only as Nathaniel was reportedly injured by the gunmen, who exchanged gunfire with operatives of the FCT Police Command.

Josephine Adeh, the Police Public Relations Officer for the FCT command, confirmed the incident, stating, “Yes, it is true.”

Reports indicate that the kidnappers attempted to abduct several residents before being thwarted by police operations. The confrontation between law enforcement and the criminals reportedly lasted approximately 30 minutes.
