This group comprises corps members and other ad-hoc staff enlisted by the commission for the election’s execution.

Facing transportation challenges, these officials expressed their predicament, lacking the means to reach their assigned polling units despite having received the necessary electoral materials.

Reports indicate that a meager three minibuses were available to transport over 200 electoral officials.

It’s worth noting that the off-cycle governorship election, expecting a turnout of 1.8 million registered voters, will be conducted in 3,508 polling units scattered across the 21 Local Government Areas of the state.
