Endrick Transfer Bombshell: Roma Set Sights On Real Madrid Youngster For January
AS Roma are reportedly prioritising a move for Real Madrid forward Endrick as they look to strengthen their attacking options during the January transfer window.
According to reports, Roma sporting director Tony D’Amico remains interested in the Brazilian youngster after the Italian club explored the possibility of signing him during the summer transfer window.
Endrick is also reportedly open to the prospect of moving to Rome, particularly amid concerns over his limited playing opportunities at Real Madrid. The 20-year-old has made only one appearance for the Spanish giants this season, featuring for just four minutes as a substitute in their 3-2 away victory over Elche.
His lack of regular playing time could make a temporary move an attractive option, with Roma seeking to add more attacking quality to their squad for the second half of the campaign.
According to the reports, Endrick has already indicated to some close friends in Brazil that a move to Rome could be possible when the January window opens. Roma previously held discussions with representatives of the forward during the summer, although the talks did not result in an agreement.
The latest developments have emerged ahead of Real Madrid’s Champions League visit to Roma on Wednesday, October 14. The fixture could give Endrick an opportunity to face the Italian side reportedly interested in securing his services.
However, there is currently no indication that Real Madrid have agreed to allow the forward to leave the club in January.
Endrick joined Real Madrid from Palmeiras and remains regarded as one of the club’s promising young attacking players. However, his limited involvement this season has continued to fuel speculation about whether he could seek a temporary move elsewhere in search of more regular first-team football.
