The Italian government recently introduced policies that bar gay and lesbian couples from raising children, prevent non-biological parents from being listed on birth certificates, and criminalize surrogacy carried out abroad.

Reacting via her Instagram story, Angela expressed support for the decision, describing same-sex parenting as unacceptable and questioning the emotional stability of such couples to raise children.

The actress, who often references her Christian beliefs, also framed her comments as a call for what she described as spiritual cleansing against practices she considers improper.

She wrote: “Same-sex couples are not okay. They are not mentally stable to train kids. We declare divine sanitation all around the world in Jesus’ name, amen. All those nonsense must stop.”

Meanwhile, Nigerian skitmaker Adesokan Adedeji Emmanuel, popularly known as Shank Comics, has responded after an old social media post in which he praised convicted American rapper Diddy’s “mindset” resurfaced and triggered backlash.

In the resurfaced post, Shank had spoken about admiring Diddy’s “perspective to the grind” and his adaptability, adding that the music mogul “got lost in the pursuit of power.”

Following criticism online, Shank clarified via his account that he was not endorsing Diddy, explaining that the earlier post was a “misguided attempt” at referencing a movie villain.
