Mr. Evaristus Ebeniro, the state sector commander of FRSC, disclosed this development on Thursday. Ebeniro clarified that the protester had previously been a special marshal of the corps, but he had been de-marshaled due to inactivity and lack of commitment to his duties. The individual no longer possessed a valid Special Marshals identity card.
The state command initiated an investigation to identify the protester and discovered that he was a unionist who had once served as a special marshal. The FRSC emphasized that the protester acted alone and was no longer associated with the corps.
