A former pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), Abraham Daniel, has raised concerns about the authenticity of the miracles performed by the church’s Senior Pastor, Paul Enenche.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

In an interview with SaharaReporters, Daniel shared his reasons for leaving the church, citing frustration with what he described as a flawed approach to “healing and deliverance.”

He alleged that after each healing service, the number of individuals seeking healing exceeded those who initially came for it. Daniel described the chaotic atmosphere of these services, likening it to the panic of a stadium crowd reacting to the presence of a dangerous animal.

“When people see the crowd, they do the unthinkable. It’s like hearing there’s a lion nearby; even a crippled might jump the fence,” he said.

Daniel further explained that the large crowds at Dunamis services often push people into acts of desperation.

He added, “I would tell you that healing is capital no. And it is with due respect to him and to Dunamis Church, I have nothing to lose or gain. The miracles are not real, they don’t happen.”

He elaborated, “Let me give you an instance. One major reason why I left is the frustration I had. After healing and deliverance service, we have more people that need healing than those that came for healing. I don’t know whether you got me.”

Daniel also shared his experiences as a pastor, highlighting the pressures they faced after such services.

“The healing service, you see people still want to see daddy for prayer. People are frustrated. You could see frustration,” Daniel said.

He continued, “And as a pastor, you know, because when daddy has gone, the Wahala now is left for us because they have to meet us. Oh, pastor, please, I need to see daddy. I brought this person. I brought that person. And people, oh, I’m like, ho? Where do I start from? Like, you could see pain.”

According to Daniel, the high-energy atmosphere during the services creates an illusion of miracles.

He explained, “When you’re on the stage it’s different from reality. When you are in a crowded atmosphere charged with, you know, you know, disco light and bang bang bang or the music is slow, your emotion is being tapped into. It’s a different ball game when the lights are off and you have to face reality.”

Daniel described this phenomenon as an “environmental influence,” giving examples such as attending events by popular artists where temporary relief from ailments like headaches might occur, only for the symptoms to return later.

Recall that the Force Intelligence Department (FID) of the Nigerian police released Alex Enenche, Pastor Paul Enenche’s younger brother, and Abraham Daniel on bail.

The duo had been detained on January 7, 2025, following accusations of cyberbullying and criminal defamation against Pastor Enenche. They were released the following day after an agreement to resolve the matter amicably.

According to Barrister Ernest Okpaga, their legal representative, the pair were detained despite fully cooperating with the police. He revealed that their statements were only taken late in the evening after hours of waiting.
