Explosive Claim: Sambo Says Seyi Makinde ‘Might Decide To Kill’ Peoples Democratic Party

He indicated that Makinde could either defect to the African Democratic Congress or push for his preferred candidate to join the party.

Sambo shared these views during an appearance on Arise Television’s Morning Show.

He said, “Makinde today doesn’t want to be in the same political group with Wike any longer. This is similar to what Bala Mohammed, Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, has said—he doesn’t see himself in the same camp with Wike because Wike betrayed the PDP, which had supported and advanced his political career over the years.

“If you look closely, these three individuals have been the mainstays of the PDP for a long time, and party members are beginning to say that whether the PDP survives or not, these three will be held accountable in the future.

“Based on what I’ve gathered from several sources, Makinde may either defect to the ADC or remain in the PDP to ensure that his preferred candidate succeeds him. This move could ultimately weaken or even ‘kill’ the PDP.

“The thinking is that if the PDP cannot be revived now, then Wike should not have control of it in 2031 to advance his political ambitions, because there are already indications that he plans to use the PDP for his agenda in 2031.”
