“In line with Section 29 of the Coroner Laws of Lagos State, this court recommends that the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) initiate legal proceedings against Felicia Ogedengbe for engaging in unlawful medical practice and gross negligence,” Magistrate Shotobi stated.

Ogedengbe was earlier arrested in the aftermath of Mohbad’s controversial death on September 11, 2023.

During her March 2025 testimony before the Coroner’s Court, Ogedengbe admitted that Mohbad experienced an adverse reaction and began vomiting shortly after she administered a tetanus injection.
