Fani-Kayode Reacts To Terrorist Attack On Russia City Hall

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has strongly denounced the recent terrorist assault in Moscow, Russia, resulting in substantial casualties and injuries. Gunmen, disguised in camouflage attire, intruded upon a concert venue complex in Moscow, initiating gunfire aimed at unsuspecting civilians.

A widely circulated video footage from the Crocus City Hall, currently making rounds on social media platforms, portrays the extensive complex, encompassing both the music hall and a shopping center, engulfed in flames, with billowing smoke filling the air.

Russian investigators have reported a death toll surpassing 60 individuals, while health authorities have confirmed that 145 people suffered severe injuries due to the unfortunate incident.

In his official statement posted on his X page on Saturday, Fani-Kayode condemned the cowardly, horrific, and brutal nature of the attack. He extended his condolences to President Vladimir Putin and the citizens of Russia, expressing solidarity with them during this challenging time.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has also expressed profound condolences to the Russian Federation following the tragic attack in Moscow. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Yusuf Tuggar, conveyed Nigeria’s deep sympathy over the incident, which claimed the lives of 60 individuals at the Crocus Concert Hall.

Tuggar further expressed wishes for a swift recovery for those injured, reaffirming Nigeria’s support during this period of adversity.
