Fani-Kayode suggested that the “Obidients” were primarily driven by religious and ethnic prejudices and would eventually become irrelevant and tarnished in the annals of history.

He stated, “By 2027, an Obidient will be synonymous with affliction, a scourge, and a symbol of explicit content and terrifying spectacles.”

He also pointed out that Peter Obi and his supporters were still grappling with the pain of their substantial electoral defeat five months after the polls. Notably, they failed to secure even the second position in the election, ending up in third place.

Fani-Kayode acknowledged that the Obidient movement, which gained prominence in the lead-up to the 2023 general election, had altered the country’s political discourse.
