Fans React As Omah Lay Reveals Heartbreaking Struggle: ‘I’m Losing My Mind Again

Nigerian singer, Stanley Omah Didia, popularly known as Omah Lay, has raised fresh concerns among fans after admitting that he is once again battling depression.

The 28-year-old artist from Rivers State revealed his struggles on Monday night via Snapchat, where he openly expressed frustration over past recording contracts and challenges within the music industry.

In the emotional post, the Reason crooner directed blame toward both his former manager and himself for signing deals he now regrets.

He wrote:
“Fk contracts. Fk labels. Fk the music business. Fk my younger self. F**k my manager. God please, I’m losing my mind again.”

This revelation comes shortly after Omah Lay parted ways with his longtime manager, Muyiwa Awoniyi. While Awoniyi described the separation as mutual, labelmate Kaestyle claimed he was actually dismissed.

The singer has previously been vocal about his mental health. His debut album, Boy Alone, released on July 15, 2022, chronicled his struggles with depression. Days after the album dropped, Omah Lay shocked fans by revealing that his condition had worsened following an affair with his therapist.

Omah Lay first gained mainstream recognition with his breakout EP Get Layd, which delivered chart-topping hits like Bad Influence and Lo Lo.
