In the Uteh Community of Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area in Edo State, a man named Mr. Emmanuel Ovwarueso has been apprehended by the Edo State Security Network (ESSN) for the brutal killing of his daughter. The suspect, also known as Emma One, was taken into custody after vigilant community members discovered his shocking crime.

Confessing to the ESSN operatives, Emma One admitted to the heinous act, revealing that he murdered his daughter in pursuit of financial gain. The incident unfolded in the Uteh area of the Upper Mission Road Extension, where the suspect resided with his family. Emma One allegedly tied and silenced his wife before committing the gruesome act in her presence.

According to Emma One’s wife, her husband’s behavior had recently taken a dark turn, as he exhibited signs of newfound wealth and extravagant spending. She recounted how he insisted that she no longer view him as a poor man and noticed unusual spending patterns, even at his workplace. Emma One’s coworkers were reportedly surprised by his sudden change in behavior and his claims that his wealth was imminent, unaware of the sinister plan he was harboring.

On the night of the incident, vigilant community members observed Emma One in haste, carrying a bag that raised suspicions. Upon interception, he resisted, claiming the bag contained his food. However, upon inspection, a human head was discovered inside the bag. Interrogation revealed Emma One’s suspicious demeanor, leading the vigilance team to his residence.

Upon arriving at Emma One’s home, they found his wife tied up. After releasing her, she disclosed that her husband had restrained her with a rope before carrying out the horrendous act on their daughter. Following her account, the community members accompanied Emma One to the location where he had buried the girl’s body in a shallow grave, leading to the immediate exhumation of the victim.

Residents of the Uteh community shared accounts of Emma One’s history of domestic violence towards his wife and children. Some coworkers described him as confrontational and prone to fighting. The suspect has been handed over to the Nigeria Police, Edo State Command, for further investigation into this disturbing case.
