Wike made this assertion during a visit from the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice John Tsoho, in Abuja on Thursday.

He explained that while his predecessor had already made some land allocations, the absence of adequate infrastructure and access roads in these areas rendered the allocations less meaningful.

Wike stated, “It is not logical to grant land allocations when beneficiaries lack access to them. Our goal is to ensure land recipients can easily develop and utilize their allocations.”

He also revealed that President Bola Tinubu had granted approval for allocating land to the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of government.

However, he added that formulating a strategy to accommodate the numerous anticipated beneficiaries was the current challenge.

Wike emphasized the importance of collaboration among the three branches of government while preserving their individual independence.
