Fear Envelops Ganduje As Another Faction In His Ward Suspends Him As APC National Chairman

This latest development adds to the ongoing crisis within the APC, as a different group claims to represent the authentic members of Ganduje ward in Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State.

Last week, Ganduje was suspended by a faction of the party executives led by Haladu Gwanjo, citing alleged corruption and other offenses.

Now, another faction, represented by Ahmad Ganduje, has come out in support of the national chairman, asserting satisfaction with his leadership.

However, the group led by Jaafar Adamu, the ward secretary, has stated that eleven out of the twenty-seven executive members of Ganduje ward are the legitimate ward executives, elected on July 31, 2021. They have issued a fresh suspension on Abdullahi Ganduje.

According to Adamu Jaafar, the suspension is due to Ganduje’s failure to pay his statutory party dues and his involvement in creating internal conflicts and anti-party activities during the 2023 general elections.

Jaafar emphasized that the two factions claiming to be executives were imposters orchestrated by Ganduje and other undesirable elements within the party.
