According to Naija News, Falz made the remarks during the #WithChude Live event held last Sunday at Eko Hotels in Victoria Island.

While discussing activism and the pursuit of justice, Falz stated that he has no regrets about taking part in the movement, stressing that advocacy is driven by compassion and a sense of humanity—not applause or recognition.

Falz, who has transitioned into acting, also credited his father, the prominent human rights lawyer Femi Falana (SAN), as a major influence in shaping his passion for justice.

“That time was incredibly difficult,” he said. “But I’ve never regretted standing up for what I believe is right. The EndSARS protests were powerful—the unity, the fight, the emotion. I’m proud I was part of it.

“I do this because I feel it in my soul. It’s about caring for people and doing what’s right, not for fame or praise.”

Falz has remained a vocal critic of injustice, using his music and platform to spotlight police brutality and bad governance, notably paying homage to victims in his song “Johnny.”
