“In our efforts against these disruptors of peace, we must adopt a more assertive strategy. Waiting passively has only emboldened our adversaries. It’s time we proactively seek them out, disrupt their operations, and dismantle their networks,” Minister Gaidam declared.

Accompanied by the Minister of State for Police Affairs, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, Gaidam stressed that peace could not be compromised, asserting that it was imperative to deprive enemies of the opportunity to initiate attacks.

In response, the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, expressed confidence in prevailing against insurgency and criminal activities. He reiterated the police force’s commitment to collaborating with the Ministry of Police Affairs to fulfill its duties effectively.
