Federal Government Plans Conversion Of Zaria Hotels Into Classrooms, Hostels For Aviation College, Says Keyamo

The Federal Government plans to repurpose Zaria Hotels in Kaduna State into classrooms and hostels for the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), announced Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo during a press briefing in Zaria.

Keyamo highlighted that acquiring Zaria Hotels as an annexure to NCAT aims to enhance the institution’s infrastructure and growth potential.

He emphasized NCAT’s pivotal role in shaping the aviation industry in Nigeria and West Africa, underscoring the government’s commitment to expanding its facilities.

Addressing speculation about relocating the college’s fire simulator and other facilities, Keyamo dismissed these claims as unfounded, affirming NCAT’s central role as the aviation training hub. The acting Rector of NCAT, Mr. Joseph Imalighwe, expressed gratitude to the minister for his visit and ongoing support for the college.
