According to Timothy Zalanga, the Managing Director of RPMC, a task force has been established by the government to ensure the successful implementation of this objective.

Zalanga further explained that the task force will conduct a comprehensive audit across the country to identify and reclaim lands for which records were lost over the years.

“The revitalization of the railway system is intended to serve the interests of all Nigerians, and the collective welfare of the people outweighs individual interests,” Zalanga emphasized.

He further advised individuals who have constructed structures on railway tracks or within the right of way to dismantle their properties, as the government will not compromise the greater interests of the Nigerian populace for the sake of individual preferences.
