The presidential spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, announced the UAE’s decision to revoke the visa ban and the resumption of flight operations by Etihad and Emirates airlines in Nigeria, all of which followed President Tinubu’s meeting with Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi.

Fani-Kayode commended President Tinubu for achieving diplomatic feats that had eluded his predecessor for years. He emphasized that the President had strategically positioned Nigeria in international affairs, citing the successful G20 summit in India, which attracted substantial investments to the country.

Additionally, President Tinubu’s efforts led to the resolution of issues involving Emirati funds at the Central Bank and matters related to flight routes and air travel between Nigeria and the UAE, all achieved within a short span of time.

The former Aviation minister highlighted that these accomplishments underscored President Tinubu’s effectiveness in restoring Nigeria’s prominence on the global stage, signaling a renewed era of diplomacy and international cooperation.
