The Presidency has refuted claims that Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, presented N105,000 as the new minimum wage to President Bola Tinubu.

Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Strategy, labeled the reports as false in a tweet.

He stated: “The Honorable Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, has not proposed N105,000 as the minimum wage. The contrary story being disseminated is false.”
