Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa emphasized a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption during the swearing-in ceremony of Chairmen and members of various Boards and Commissions in Yola. He underscored the importance of transparency and accountability, stating that these principles are non-negotiable in his administration. Fintiri stressed that those found guilty of corrupt practices would face immediate consequences.
Addressing the appointees, Fintiri urged them to align with the administration’s eight-point agenda, emphasizing transparency, accountability, and innovation as essential drivers of progress. He emphasized the significance of their roles in tackling economic challenges and providing solutions that benefit the people of Adamawa.
Speaking on behalf of the appointees, Mr. Musa Kaibo, Chairman of the Civil Service Commission, expressed gratitude to the governor for their appointments. He pledged their commitment to contributing to the state’s development across various sectors, including Local Government Pension, Planning, Health Services Management, Fiscal Responsibility, and Universal Basic Education.
