Under the theme “Our Children, Our Future,” the event, dubbed “Celebrating with our Children,” saw Remi Tinubu emphasizing the profound joy children bring and the crucial role parents and guardians play in nurturing them with love, care, and compassion.

“I am thrilled to welcome all our wonderful children to the State House. Today is your day, and I am overjoyed to share it with you all,” she expressed warmly.

In a statement from her media aide, Busola Kukoyi, Remi Tinubu stressed the significance of fostering curiosity, continuous learning, and fearlessly asking questions. She encouraged the young attendees to dream big and pursue greatness, undeterred by obstacles.

Highlighting the importance of education, she urged children to remain curious and never cease their quest for knowledge, stressing the pivotal role education plays in shaping their future. She also urged them to be unafraid to seek guidance and ask questions.

In a bid to promote agriculture among the youth, Senator Tinubu announced the forthcoming launch of the Young Farmers Club in public primary and secondary schools nationwide. This initiative, spearheaded by the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), aims to instill a love for farming among young people.

Additionally, she assured the children of President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to creating an environment where every Nigerian child can reach their full potential, painting an optimistic picture of Nigeria’s future.

During the gathering, Nana Shettima, the wife of the vice president, commended the First Lady’s initiative in hosting the schoolchildren, emphasizing her unwavering dedication to uplifting all segments of society. She lauded the various programs under the Renewed Hope Initiative, particularly those enhancing the health, education, and well-being of women and children.
