Former Governor Nyesom Wike Confirmed For Ministerial Position By Nigerian Senate
The Nigerian Senate has successfully screened and confirmed Nyesom Wike, the former Governor of Rivers State, for an upcoming ministerial role, with the specific portfolio yet to be disclosed.

During the screening, Nyesom Wike presented his curriculum vitae (CV), and Senate President Godswill Akpabio inquired whether he would bring the same level of dedication he exhibited while governing Rivers State to his new ministerial responsibilities.
Wike assured the Senate of his commitment, and after receiving commendations from fellow senators, he was granted a “take a bow” privilege and ultimately confirmed as suitable for the ministerial appointment.
