Daily Trust reported that President Tinubu instructed Imo State governor, Hope Uzodinma, who chairs the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), to garner support from colleagues and other stakeholders for Ganduje’s appointment.
Ganduje’s selection for the party’s top position has led to jubilation in Kano State, as it is believed to strengthen the APC not only in the state but also in the northwest region and the entire country.
While the interim appointment will be announced soon, the ratification will take place at the party’s upcoming convention later this year, consolidating Ganduje’s role as the interim national chairman of the ruling party.
