Buhari emphasized that his administration’s success in tackling insecurity played a crucial role in attracting investments to Nigeria.
In an interview with the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), he asserted that his government effectively dealt with security challenges, strengthened the economy, and fought corruption, surpassing the accomplishments of the administrations preceding his.
While acknowledging that all goals were not fully achieved, he urged Nigerians to reflect on the state of Boko Haram and the economy before his tenure, emphasizing the positive changes under his leadership.
Buhari attributed part of the success to the appointment of a young and incorruptible governor in Borno State, which significantly impacted the Northeast, a region where Boko Haram was active.
